A new-build home in Dolton finished with a clay plain tile roof. Clay plain tiles are a traditional roof covering that weather naturally over time and sit comfortably in the North Devon landscape, laid here in close, even coursing across the roof. The work also took in the associated leadwork, with flashings, soakers and weatherings dressed by hand at the junctions and abutments, to detail the roof properly and keep it watertight for the long term.
