The Mill House Conservation Refurbishment, Lee Bay

A complete internal and external refurbishment of the listed Mill House at Lee Bay, carried out to conservation standards.
The Mill House sits right on the beach at Lee Bay, so protecting the building from the sea was as much a part of the work as restoring it. The project covered tanking against water ingress, a hydraulic bridge to shield the property from stormy seas, lime repainting and replastering throughout, new reclaimed flagstone floors, new bathrooms and full redecoration. Externally we laid a salvaged Delabole slate roof with cast iron rainwater goods and carried out lime pointing as part of the wider refurbishment.
