Apartment 1 at The Moorings is a considered reworking of Victorian character into contemporary luxury living, one of three apartments carved from a building with genuine history, reimagined without losing what made it special.
The Moorings began life as a striking Victorian building, its proportions and period detailing offering a rare foundation to build from. Working alongside RGP Architects, the conversion has been approached with the same care the original builders would have recognised, preserving the character of the structure while introducing a layout and finish suited to modern coastal living.
Apartment 1 forms one of three homes within the building, each designed to feel distinct while sharing the same commitment to craftsmanship. The apartment balances heritage charm with clean, contemporary detailing throughout, all set against outstanding sea views that stretch out from the building's original position above the water.
