Overview
A correctly installed lead roof lasts well over 100 years, making lead the most durable roofing material available. We have worked with lead for over two decades, from chimney flashings and box gutters to large flat roofs and decorative leadwork on listed buildings and churches. We work in both cast and milled lead sheet and are skilled in bossing, the shaping of lead by hand, and lead welding. All leadwork is installed to BS EN 12588 and the Lead Sheet Association code of practice, which set the correct thickness, code and maximum panel size for each application. Getting the code and fixings right is what prevents the cracking and fatigue behind most lead roof failures.
