Overview

Conservation roofing uses traditional materials and methods to meet the planning conditions attached to listed buildings and conservation areas. We have worked on nearly 100 heritage buildings, including lottery funded projects, churches and stately homes across the South West. On listed buildings, like-for-like replacement is usually a condition of listed building consent, meaning natural slate, clay tile, lead and lime must match the original. We work directly with conservation officers and architects to agree materials and details before work begins, which prevents the costly delays of retrospective approval.
